General particulate fluid replacement

Has anyone managed to reset the low additive level themself? I have purchased a set of OBD leads in order to reprogram a spare keyfob and following my recent trip to the local garage who had all the dealer tools (apparently), has topped up my additive level to the brim but cannot reset the low level message.

As I have the leads, has anyone done this using PP2000 / MultiECUScan or does this definately need a trip to the stealers?

I actually had mine in at a specialist last week to have the FAP system removed altogether. Cost £295 and they reprogrammed and remapped the system. Car runs a lot better and is supposed to improve fuel consumption too.

Having no luck with MultiECUScan on the Ulysse and dont want to fork out cash for pp2000 box if this isnt going to work.

Is there anyone in South Lincs area (Sleaford/ Grantham) who knows how to reset the dpf fluid additive level and reprogram a spare key fob on a 2004 Ulysse and fancies a few extra quid?

Level reset! Did it myself in the end with a Diagbox off eBay and PP2000. What a faff though.
You need to go engine and dpf filter replacement.
reset the fluid used since last rest to 00000000 (mine was at 154678) trigger is at 150k
Save and turn off ignition
Open filler cap, wait 10-20 seconds and place back on
Start car for four minutes
Turn off engine
Read addgo ecu codes, reset faults
Read engine codes, reset any faults
Take keys out of ignition for 5seconds and then re-start engine - fault should be gone!

I had a garage and auto electrician fail at clearing the message after filling additive fluid, over the moon now and leads have paid for itself. Just got keyfob to reprogram now. :)
