hi guys just to let you know i cut open my old particulate filter to see if it could be cleaned and reused to my surprise yes you can cut it around weld theres 2 filters in there put high presure cleaner as close as you can and watch the soot fly out , there is a lot but done both of them and now perfect ready to weld back together and put back on a car should work a treat and save a lot of money give it a go cheers

hi did it with water no dust nothing perfect job if i say so myself just goes to show all the experts out there at the garages charging a fortune for no reason at all mine ia now good as new thanks .

Take the DPF off and have the ECU remapped. But better to just drive it properly so the DPF can regenerate itself.

Blowing it out is a seriously bad idea. pm10 particles are so small you body thinks they are bacteria and tries to kill them. They cant be killed so you get all sorts of problems including cancer. Also pm10s are like sponges so hold all sorts of carcinogenic stuff inside. Seriously not good.
