Anyone know what this part is,found in footwell after I had the steering rack replaced. At first I thought it was from a carpet but we've had a few sets of car mats and there's no fixing point in the car.Any help will be much appreciated.

Many thanks Mark

I did some reverse image search with google lens and this seems to be a steering column rubber seal.

Part number 46802355

I'm not completely sure if this is really for the panda as the one link I found mentioned it's for the 500 (but there's usually some overlap). Other links said it was for the Panda II

I dont think its Panda, or not the mk3 or 4. Koalar will no doubt correct me if I am wrong. It cant really have come loose and fallen off or it would be split. Its a free extra! Unless its a floor grommet where the column comes through.

I couldn't really conclude if this would fit a Panda 2014 like the OP mentioned. The part in eper with that number isn't linked with any models.

This is what the google search yielded. Definitely looks like a visual match with OPs part.

I don't know if I can link the page I found this in but there it says:

Steering column rubber pad for:
Fiat Cinquecento

Original Fiat spare part.

...

Spare part code

Fiat 46802355

Could it be that the mechanic got the wrong part and accidentally dropped it?

Panda 319 may have a grommet but it would be seen in the engine bay I think. Im pretty sure the hole on the car floor is open. I was worried about dropping bits into it when changing the pollen filter and not being able to get them out again..

EPER shows that part fitting here, between the steering column and the floor — but, in a 169 (2004-2012ish) Panda. Part 3 in the diagram

However… the same shaped part as in the photos, but with a different number is shown for the 312/319 Panda (post-2012) too. Item 5 in this diagram
