How do i get round that support bar on the parcel shelf when i put in 6x9s on the shlf, i hav sum in but i had 2 remove the bar but it looks a mess,

o srry, the parcel shelf thts in with the speakers has the bar removed and the speakers in but it looks a lil messy, so i got a new shelf and wana put the speakers on tht one but wana kno how 2 keep it tidy
use your old parcel shelf to make a outline on some mdf cut that out and make your own

so i shouldnt use the spare untouched shelf? i shud make one?
makeing one will be your best bet if you use nice thick mdf and use an old parcel shelf to get the correct shape
then use the fitments from the old one so you can fit your homemade one into the hinge like bit (for lack of a better word
) so it fits and moves like the OEM one
cut your holes the for the speakers if you wanner make it look nicer carpet it with some matching carpet and then screw your speakers in nice and tight
and there you have it
the extra rigidty of the mdf shelf will improve the sound from the speakers but of course the best way is to not have rear speakers

wel the plan is sorted, jus gttta make one now, hav 2 find me sum time, shud b fun tho, seems simple tho plus i know sum1 tht duz interior repairs n tht so carpetin it wil b easy nuff,
Use the support bar from the rear to fabricate the original mounting points and vibration stops into the new shelf.

Also if you are building a nice sturdy shelf then why not enclose the 6x9's in a 1cu ft box and get about the best sound you can from them

Pretty simple really, I don't know how to else to explain it other than 'make a box'
Basically make boxes to go around the magnet of the speakers, so its sealed.
