Yes, i am. I love the colour of it , as the colour of Alans is TOO common

Do you know what it will need for the mot, as i was wondering if i could fix it at your place, book it in for an mot in England (dont fancy trying for an NI mot), and then driving the car over to the mot. Yes its a crazy scheme, just like something Jim would do

edit - just noticed on the auction, that you said it needs welding. How bad is it, and would you be able to take pics (i wonder if ryanair will let me carry a mig welder on as hand luggage :chin: )

I don't have the space Chris. It needs a bit of welding for the MOT as described in the auction. It would be best if it was transported over. To be honest with you there are plenty of good 4X4s in England, why would you go to the hassle of buying one that needs work from NI?

Its my sense of adventure Steve , and like i said, i love the colour. I know someone who works at a local scrapyard who might be about to come over with me in his recovery truck, so i will have a word with him tomorrow morning

Hmmm, i cant think of anything else . the cheapest way would have been to fix it in NI, and then drive it over. Do you know if Stu would allow me use of his acreage (a spool of mig wire as a fee )

Tempting Chris but unfortunately No more cars as my future automobile fleet is in plan.

1 Sisley 4x4 wont be going anywhere and will stay pride of place
2 BMW 5.4 V12 750iL 1998-1999
3 Fiat barchetta or equivalent convertable (BUT NOT AN MGF :yuck: ) the only thing putting me off is the FWD I can live with LHD.

Hopefully by the end of this year so all other spending is finished till that's sorted.

I love it when a plan comes together 2 out of 3 so far, Just got the 98/99 5.4 V12 750 BMW to go

According to the RAC, its a 1 owners car, and if the seller DOES have most of the mots then i dont doubt that the car IS what is says

alan, there was a nice m sport 5.4 v12 750 in metallic grey with all the bits FSH etc etc went for 3450 a few days ago, i was having a bid but didnt win!
