:yeahthat:. If you want a cheap off roader why not go for a Lada Niva, as i had one and they are fantastic offroad and you can fit what ever size wheels you want

it would be a better bet for Pikey, as i have seen 17inch mud tyres on nivas without ANY mods to the body, and they have high and low gears too

the owner of the 2 panda 4x4's looks to be selling the yellow one for about £40, might be worth buying either as spares, or rebuilding to use.

Hi, I'm a new member to the Fiat Forum... Am currently on the lookout for a panda in good condition as my first car. I like one which is currently on ebay - it is a limited edition 1990 Sergio Tacchini. The bonnet on this car is white (rest of car is grey)... The owner bought it like this and isn't sure if it is a feature of the edition or whether it has been replaced at some point in the past. Is anyone able to shed any light on this for me? I'd be very grateful!

AJ, its not a feature of the panda, its just the wrong colour bonnet.

I think its a metallic colour on the sergio tachini, so it might cost about £100 for the spraying

lads, i know a lada or suzuki sj would be better but its insurance! I have had pajeros but only as a named driver and still expensive, i can get the panda for a very cheap price and so to be able to go off road in that should be feasible, i want one already road legal and then modify it, tastefully i must ad for some off roading!

I had my niva on a third party only policy for £430, and that was even thought i had only 1 years NCB, and had smashed up my previous car

Thanks for the estimate on respraying... Will see how the auction fares I think. But might be able to get it under £100 because the company my mum works for resprayed her door for her quite cheaply and might be able to get it done through them... Will see what happens. Thanks for help though Christopher.
