Re: Panda eBay Thread

made me do a little research on Yahoo.jp

you could buy a 1990 Mazda Carol 4x4 with ABS and foglights for £450.00
looks a gas... but i am sure it'd get stuck in a deep puddle if you took it off road. however i'm sure a lot of 4x4's manage to live without ever seeing a field of grass.

Re: Panda eBay Thread

Looks good - bet it does work! just needs fresh oil and loosening off!

That immaculat Panda Sisey went bloody cheap! Who got it?
That mint Sisley had been involved in an accident and was declared category C by the insurers. basically it was only good for parts.

Category C means it can be repaired then put back on the road but only after going for a VIC check. If it had been a category B, it would be for breaking only.

Category 'C' also means that you will never be issued a V5 for that vehicle... so if you lose the original you are knackered.

Erm, not true, as my mams old car was reversed into by a skip wagon and it became a category C. The V5 was sent off to the dvla, and then we VIC checked it, she later lost the V5 but we paid about £25 and got another one sent out :)

Well there you go then... I had been told by a colleague who got shunted on the motorway and bought back the car to sell on Ebay for spares etc... turns out he was and I were misinformed.

Re: Panda eBay Thread

ok, the usual trawl through what's up for sale ...

There's a nice but expensive selecta in madchester on autotrader...

fish 4 brought up this one 1989 (G) FIAT PANDA 3DR, Super - Blue 98,300K £95
300K miles seems quite high.

and this one 94 (M) FIAT PANDA 1.0 CLX [Catalyst] 3dr Hatchback, Black, Manual, Petrol £695. but it's way over priced.

and others... but nothing exceptional
