I asked the seller if he had a BIN price and whether it had been MOT'd but failed.

Answer:
"Its not been mot tested or failed so i have no true list,i have been going on my mechanic friends advice and prob going to let auction run. Your welcome to make an offer"

Don't think he knows what it's worth. I'd advise making a good offer, he'll probably take it. Wish my current situation was different or I'd be making an offer.

Interesting find Craig; you should go & check it out... Could well be the basis for you'r project panda!! :D

I'm not gonna get involved with the Sisley, I've got too much on my plate at the moment... I'll have to wait for the right bits to turn up at a later stage.... :(

Nice one, I like the stealthy wheels... Head gasket shouldn't be a problem to replace... Good luck and let us know how it goes.

P.S. There's a 1242cc 16v engine for it in the parts section (mk 2 tho, dunno if that would be more trouble than mk 1) but you'd be in the same boat as me having to source all the ancillary parts separately!
 
Right, just got back from viewing it.

Kev, you wont like the interior if you saw it, passenger seat, has a large rip down the right hand side. He said this was originally the driver seat so he swapped it. its quite grubby, he's in the RAF so if he's been dirty at work it's transfered straight on the seats. Rest is just dirty.

Its got speakers in the side panels at the back, he said they're sh!te so he put 6x9's in, like you can see in the photo. Still got all the other fittings for seat belts and the seats.

Wheels look nice, rear tires are perfect, even though they've had 2 years of driving on them, front are bald from spining in the snow.

Drivers door is rusty, no holes yet just bubbling, and the front wing looks like it happened by sliding into a pole. rest of body is fine from what i could see, black car at night never the best.

Light switch is buggered, you have to fiddle with it to get the main lights on, then jam in it place. Front wiper motor is tempremental too, sometimes intermiternt works, sometimes not.

Couldnt really see much engine wise., but it started ok and sound ok running, def better than mine does

The other bloke who viewed is after it for spares, bonnet, boot, doors and front screen. Which it's really to good to scrap. Hes got a mk1 4x4 like Si's, but he said its hand painted subaru blue and in need of restoration.

I let him know about the forum so we might see him on here sometime soon.

The bloke who is selling, asked why i wanted it, said want to put a bigger engine in, he said that was kinda my idea, except i was thinking of an R1 engine:eek:. I'll be keeping my eyes on it and see how much it goes for.
 
Did anybody see that 1993 CLX with 33K and all the extras on ebay yesterday...?

...it was only on for 2 hours.
