Rear shock absorbers on Ebay

Forum members may have noticed that a pair of genuine Fiat rear shock absorbers for the Panda has just appeared on Ebay.

Ebay item # 260281398533

Anyone considering these items should please be aware. The part number quoted indicates that these units are for the PandaVan and Panda Cityvan, not for a normal Panda or for a 4x4, which have different part numbers.

Presumably, these units are stronger rated on the assumption of load bearing and may not be well suited to the normal hatchback vehicle.

Guys - bit of advice needed by a newbie please? Possibly not the best spot for the query but related.

Got a 1993 3 door Panda 1000 Fire, it had had a scrape from a van before we got it which has damaged the read passenger side, but nothing too bad. Then some kids smashed the passenger side window with a brick. :bang: It was running until made SORN about a year ago and laid up as I was too busy to look at it.

I am weighing up either selling it as a whole, braking it for parts or getting it going again. Is ebay the best way to go, or this forum if I want to sell or break it and how much might I expect to get back either route?

OMG. I so would have hit the BIN instantly if I had seen. I WOULD HAVE FOUND the money! Aircon :yum:

3 hours from listing to BIN. Well my Selecta was on eBay with a BIN and I brought it within 4 hours of listing :p.

You gotta be quick. I think the seller would have got more on auction though. What do you all think?

At the end of the day, eBay is a free for all, but we tend to sort of (well I do, lol) declair an interest in the hope that if another member is going to bid because they feel like it rather than wanting/needing the item, they won't.

Like I put above. I might bid on the spoiler just to see if I do get it, But I don't have/need to get it, and so if another member wants it I won't bid :p ;)

Think I'll buy this for IVOR - he needs cheering up after visiting PandaSport and seeing all the bigger engined Pandas (including one with nitrous...:devil:)

Oh dear.......the chatham panda is now mine!!!!
Super rosso was won at 10pm for £380 :D
Cant wait to collect her..Will update you as to how healthy she is..in the meantime i have stuck some pics up on the "show your panda thread"
