49,000 miles, one grandad owner...mot jan 09..looks very cleeeeeeeeen!!!!

As for the bug..i have owned other italian cars alfas and fiats..but the one i miss was my "bianca" see the newbie section of the main forum for my post about it.

A lovely purply pink exterior with pink purple green check interior, 5 speed manual, petrol, hatchback, double panoramic sunroof, rear seat belts, headrests, fuel injection, very low insurance and road tax group, great runner, very economical 50 mpg + 94600 miles Only two previous female owners, Has a few little dinks and a couple of tiny rust bubbles, condition what you would expect for it's age, Original limited edition paint work, has been re-touched in areas which is very hard to notice as you can see from the photos. Hi all..for anyone who is interested.
Went to pick up super rosso and it went something like this..........
1) nice guy showed original books, mot's, 2no sets of keys even original bill of sale. Looking good so far.
2) Go to see car....few stratches and dents. still ok.
3) Only "a bit of rust" he said on boot lid around fiat badge. not bad..still ok.
4) I see passenger door has lots of rust (normal i know but annoying) "Did not see that" he said.
5) Now the test drive....Engine very good..Brakes terrible (no prob can be sorted) Gearbox good. Steering very good.New exhaust badly fitted bouncing and blowing..again no prob can be sorted....Now I know your waiting for it......the clutch....got about 2 weeks left in it!!!!! F@@ked.
6) Pointed this out and he said "i did not realise!!!! " Funny thing was i had jokingly said on the way to the car that if it was owned by a old guy that the clutch was prob shagged...rev rev..slip clutch...etc.
7) Hand shakes all round...and im of home minus super rosso. :cry:

Still a good drive out in purple haze. (y)

Now back to looking out for another.

ok here we go......Colour located in isfield sussex.
Bodywork is good (must have did the usual t-cut/polish recently)
Engine not bad for the milage, no horrors.
Clutch ok.
Brakes ok.
Sunroof f**ted. Tape everywhere.
Interiour Very tired!! Drivers seat worn. No carpet (strange???!!)
Other bits inside a bit worn.

As for price....I'v now been outbid and after seeing it i'm not sure i want to bid anymore.
Shame as its so close to me.
Makes me realise how good PURPLE HAZE is!!!

As for purple haze....i won the brand new panda mudflaps on ebay and they arrived today..super quick delivery and A1!!!!!!! Also got some snazzey stickers (abarth, agip etc)
A trip to halfords and i have some microline fogs to go onto the bullbars when they arrive.

Should anyone want any further info on the colour for sale just ask.

Good idea. Prices seem to be going a bit mad of late. (Is it the 50mpg that appeals to people, or the "aint seen one of those for ages" factor I wonder?)

Just been offered £750 cash again for mandapanda whilst filling her up tonight. That's the 2nd offer at that price in as many months.

Don't panic folks, she aint going nowhere !
