It's not really a van, sorry to get your hopes up.

The seller was using it for parcel deliveries, hence no rear seat. Quite Van-ish tho :)

O yea. I saw this one and it looks really good, until you see the close ups. I think its because the Red hasn't faided like most.

The alloys really suit it though! I would like them for my Selecta if I has the money, but then theres the extra cost on the insurance :(.

Check with your insurance company Jon. Churchill didn't sting me any more money for Mandapanda's alloys or the roof bars :), just the bull bars

Will do.

I can't see from your display pic, but the roof bars, are they just the ones that go down the side of the car at the back? Because wern't they standard on the very late Panda's like yours? Would that not mean you don't have to declair them because they're standard?

Jon.

Not sure if roof rack was a standard fitment on later Panda's - I think not. (I'd need to consult with the fountains of knowledge on the Forum). Maybe they had some left over from Uno Hobbys LOL and just fitted them on a few Panda's ??

The roof bars do run down the side on the roof, but have the 3 cross struts on too. I did declare everything. The alloy wheels, roof rack and bars, spot lights, 6x9 speakers & bull bars front & rear but they were only interested in the bull bars.

I always declare everything so if the worst happens they'll pay out.
Also, as I work for RBS which owns Churchill I really don't want to get in trouble at work !

:D I know the feeling. Sometimes they want to know when you last went to the toilet, or maybe thats my experience with insurance companies.

I've declaired the spots and DRL's to them, they wern't fussed about the others. Sound system is covered upto £300 with standard fully comp policy which I more than enough for what I've got. Hopefully when I have a years NCD next year the £1300 this year will be below £1k.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

God I pay just over £800 a year in total and thats for 3 cars (2 fully comp and one of them has an agreed value) I guess age has it's advantages sometimes ! !

Any way, we digress - sorry Mods. I hope someone does buy the Red Selecta 'Van' and that she stays on the road.

I know, sounds alot, but realised it was cheap. One lad at college is paying £1900 FPFT for a 1.1 N-reg Fiesta. And mines with 3 points!

Anyone tracking the Panda tent which is on eBay at the moment? Looks fantastic. I was interested but price is too high for me now, sadly. I have won some wheels from the same seller though so if anyone on here buys the tent I may be able to help with transport. Cheers, David

:confused:Anyone from here bidding on this? If not I just might even though I ain't got a Panda yet! I'm a camping freak, you see. But if your onto it, I ain't that keen! Reply in this thread I suppose. I probably won't even bid but if I'm drunk enough you never know.....:p:p:p:p

I've asked the fella if it is all there, bag, pegs, instructions etc. etc.

That is a very very rare item and I believe will shoot up in price at the end if any enthusiast is watching

Yeah, I remember them from my FMC days. Jo Widdrington actually got hold of a few brand new ones I think, some years ago and they went like hot cakes. Worth keeping an eye on though.
