I've looked into it on mine. I can current only do a forced start on LPG when the temperature of the coolant is above about 35C. I often do it when restarting from warm to save the pricey petrol.
When my system is out of warrantee I'm going to get the setup of my laptop to talk the to LPG ECU and will be setting it to start from cold on LPG during the summer, and back to normal in the winter.
My system is apparently capable of Doing it without issues like yours, but the thing you've got to be careful of is not freezing the vaporiser before the coolant going through it is nice an warm or you won't get any LPG through and that can take days to thaw out apparently.
