General Panda Wanted

If you are an avid follower of the classifieds section you will know I have had a narrow wall Punto 1242cc (60S) engine and bits for sale for a while.

To be honest I'm getting a bit fed up tripping over it and thought about scrapping it or making it a turn key kit for a Panda.

But then I thought...

"Why should I do the work and not have the fun?"

This coincides with a fellow Pandaist getting hold of a new Panda 100hp powered Panda and him asking me loads of advice and me supplying parts and ideas to his project.

Again...

"Why should I do the work and not have the fun?"

So I am after a carb' and distributor Panda for a charity track day event next year (2017) that I can build and tune using parts from my bottomless shed.

Maybe a new vs old school Panda off with my mate while I'm at it.

...are non-issues as the car will be getting a similar set up to FrankenFIRE but with a proper carb' instead of TDM850 ones.

As I'm selling my Alfa Spider to fund this cutting out the middle people is an option and swapping a possibility for the right car.

My Spider is back in the forum classifieds. The chap who was buying her wanted to surprise his partner but she bought herself a Peugeot 307cc. I'm sure he'll be back when it catches fire but in the mean time I'm still looking for a Panda.
