Sparkplugs

With the air filter removed access is pretty simple (better than a FIRE)

A Small screedriver to prise the yellow clip from the wiring plug

Then remove plug

I used a deep plug socket and a bar to undo the plugs.. one was TIGHT one was just snug.. 'suoposedly'fitted by the selling garage @16k...so had covered @8k

Undo the M6 bolt (10mm head)
Twist and pull the coilpack.. it has a rubber gaitor seal.. it could be stuff to pull.. but should twist o.k.

Undo the plug with the extended socket

Use the telescopic magnet to withdraw the plug

Lowering the new plug in on the magnet..

Try and rotate it in to start on its thread

Then pull it free from the magnet (you can always use a screwdrived to keep the plug in the bure as you withdraw the magnet )

Put the socket back on the plug.. wind it in by hand

TIP: once 'snug'.. back it out 5 or 6 turns.. if it goes free.. you were cross threaded

If its still straight and firm.. you are square in the thread

Then wind it down with you torque gauge

Twist and push the coil pack back onto the plug.. then fit and torque the M6 securing bolt

The red handled pincer..nail pliers

are perfect for refitting the large hose clip.. so it climbs back over the clip and latches

I discovered the Panda '63plate is EURO6 ECU

Wheras my Punto TA '13 plate is EURO5 ECU

BOTH 85hp..and both 99 emissions.. so Zero VED
