General Panda Speaker Sizes...

Hi Guys,

Right I have purchased the front and rear door adaptors from this site and so far have fitted the front ones without any problems. http://www.bluespot.co.uk/install/show_model.asp?id=369

However the rear door adaptors are for 165mm speakers not 130mm like everyone says they are. I haven't taken the door panels off the rears yet or bought any speakers but I was wondering what you guys all thought. The adaptors look pukka in that they are quite shallow etc and look like they may fit as they are the right kind of shape. However if you look here http://nuovapandahp.forumcommunity.net/?t=5977339 at the pictures of the rear doors it looks like there is no way.

Just wondering if anyone else has purchased/used these adaptors and had any thoughts?

I fitted my front speakers in a rush without adapters, just used four black screws through the door trim and they fit a treat

Just so you all know I removed one of the rear door trims today and the adaptors work fine. Using them I will be able to have 165mm speakers front and rear in the Panda

That's good to hear. by the way what speaker's are you going to be using?
im keen to change the original's but not to keen on the idea of amping everything up.. my day's of doing that are gone....

I have put Infinity Reference speakers in the front, have not decided for the back yet!

>>Drrawle, I'm interested on how you found the Inifinity Reference speakers? Which version of speaker did you go for? Was it a night and day difference vs the standard speakers? Also, did you need to use the adapter for the front speakers?

Also happy to hear from other owners, what speakers did they go for?
