General Panda Servcing - Much Cheapness!

I'm a Cinquecento owner but this morning I was picking up a part and while waiting I read the board with the servcing prices on it. It detailed the usual brake pads and so many mile services etc but also Timing Belts, I was suprised to see the Panda 4x4 down for £55 all including VAT etc, I thought Wow!

Can anyone confirm this? Glad to know a reasonably cheap car has servicing prices to match.

Well the first annual service for my 1.2 Dynamic cost £121.15 incl VAT. Seems quite a lot for not much to do!

Thats nowt, the local con merchant trading as a Fiat dealer charged me £150 and refused to change a pollen filter until I jumped up and down!!!!

I do like the sound the mini & volvo £150 for three years serving deal all of a sudden!Just had mine done today....what about the Fiat "Menu Pricing Programme"???

£135....the service manager told me next year's would be £260!....although to his credit he did offer some advice, as I do a low annual mileage (6000) next year I should ask for a 'low annual mileage 2nd year service' when booking....the price he said will be pretty much the same as this years cost although they won't change the spark plugs, mind u at 12-13k they won't need changing....top tip if u don't do many miles anyway.

one thing I forget to mention, I asked the dealer to have a look at the engine/computer settings to see if they could iron out a slight 'hitch' whilst in slow running town traffic (a tad jerky) - they said they had found no problem like this when testing the car (don't you just love it when somebody tells you there is nothing wrong when u know there bloody well is?!) anyway, he said they had reset all the engine/computer settings to their factory preset.... it's amazing how much you don't really notice something when you drive a car everyday but after their reset and service (oil change!) it's now soooo much smoother running than before...I'd go as far and say the car is running better than it ever has! and that's not to say it was rough before but with a little TLC from them it seems so much more nicer, smoother and even nippier now.
