Thought I’d already posted that…like the wheels
I like the wheels too. In fact, they are the steel wheels (that are normally black painted) that were used on the more recent 4x4 versions (the Waze 4x4 and the ‘Wild’ version in Europe, but often covered here (eg on the City Cross) by plastic trims to look like alloy wheels. I quite fancy tracking down a set of those steel wheels but they seem to be as rare as (insert as appropriate).

Need to find the manufacturer…

Definitely NOT a new wheel then…like Hillshopper, wouldn’t mind a set…stand by for me trauling the net
No, this is a MJ that has been in the village for the last couple of years I've been visiting. I'll look out for a set locally! The paint job is interesting too; a kind of semi matt. I thought it was wrapped but not so, it's white underneath.

Quite like the Matt finish. Interestingly, my MK2, 169, Cross had its paint scuffed off on one of the sill protectors, it was ‘cross orange’ underneath, but also flat matt…I wouldn’t mind but there was too long a wait time for the orange, my preferred colour, and the white, my second choice, so ended up with the green one out of the showroom!

I love it. Someone sent me this yesterday. Not too much new or different about it but Fiat loves its special editions.

So the 4x4 / Cross is effectively coming back to market with this? Maybe they're clearing out their inventory of 4x4 parts at the factory?

I hope it comes with that space saving handbrake though in reality! 4x4, CarPlay / modern screen... if it had heated seats (even as an option) I could seriously see myself with one of these in a few years.

Those wheels too.. they look like they take dirt in their stride, by design!

Not sure if this is available in the UK
“A mere 1,983 examples will be produced, with said cars going to four European markets: Italy (duh!), France, Germany, and… wait for it… Switzerland.”

I like the wheels too and may repaint mine in that colour or at least something much lighter. Myesteel waze wheels have rusted really badly in spite of fastitidious maintenenace and I have it in mind to have them stripped dipped and powder coated. I had 1 4x4 hub cap but decided earlier tis year not to invest in 3 more so sold it on eBay for a whoppimg profit. Someone clearly wanted it badly and made a buy it now offer well above its cost to me. Mangoletsi Fiat (Knutsford)obtained the trim direct form Fiat with seemingly little effort. I do wonder whether that colour would go so well with my white waze but having seem it I feel black isnt the best colour for the wheels either. Mangoletsi say they are the oldest Fiat dealer in the UK and I was mega impressed with their parts man Barry.
