Spotted on the m42 between junction 3 and 4. On birmingham plates aswell so it seemed to be based around the city.

Good idea. Small, good in all weathers, economical and good visibility.

Not exactly going to be catching many people though other than overweight cyclists who have just robbed a sweet shop!
 
Given how people love to overtake pandas, it would make an excellent radar trap.
 
Here's one in colour. Apparently they were called Panda cars because originally they were in black and white but I've only ever seen blue and white ones.

Wonder if it was driving elsewhere? :chin:
The police in the area around Stanhope used a liveried up Micra until recently for rural policing think it was a 1.0 so high speed chases were out of the question. Would make sense as a rural panda car.
