Hi folks, came accross this forum just today while googling some of my headaches
This is my family's Panda, has about 298k on it since 2003 but only about 7k on our hands, we got it around 2018/2019, after the previously owned '98 Corolla went to the junkyard after someone running a stop sign and running against it...no injuries at least
The car has run fine until a few months ago got the engine light on.
So, I'll try to give you guys the info I have, it has been to three mechanics already, my grandfather took it but either they're taking advantage of an old man or they're clueless, and since I have some free time the next couple of weeks, would like to get a better idea of what to do to fix it
The overall symptons where:

The overall symptons where:
- loss of power at low rotations in 2nd gear and a some choking; hasn't had much of this lately
- without much reason, while moving it appears to turn off and back on again, all the points go to 0 (gas and speed), temperature goes to max H, then it switches on, this mostly happens at low rotations/gear, maybe making a turn or going over a speedbump, i've noticed happening at higher speeds in 4th/5th but much less;
- two or three times it shut down and refused to turn back on - once turned on again after a few minutes, other time after towing back home, turned on again, third time didn't turn on, took a new battery.
- First mechanic said the car was fine, just need to go to the highway and push it, to clean the engine and lubricate...didn't help
- Second mechanic did OBD test with errors P0606 and U1602 and told us to go to FIAT representative, but we guess that that will be too expensive for a 22 year old
- Third mechanic changed the battery and said he could fix the it could be the ignition coil or the ECU, need to get something first, but after a week said he couldn't...
