General Panda 169 driver seat

Evening all

My driver seat side bolster padding has moved around the metal frame, and i can feel the metal. The base is the same.

Anyone experienced this, and what was the solution to the problem?

Purchased replacement seat? Sourced foam replacement? Can the foam be moved back to it's original place?

if you mainly driving alone you can swap the seat bases over

second hand is the cheapest solution

covers and foam are available but doing both seats to match isnt cheap

it is possible to modify 500 seats to fit. But please do this correctly as the seat is a safety device

there's a sharp bar that cuts through the foam

before you ask. Yes it can be glued back together with contact adhesive if you have the skills to disassemble the seat

Best to glue it back together and then put some reinforcement over the join.
Clever bit is to avoid having a hard bump where the join is.
Seat base cover is fairly easy to remove and replace. Although you have to discover the art of removing the plastic clips as I've forgotten how.
Seat back cover is a bit more involved, but still not too bad.
