Panda Panda 100HP

Hi all. I recently replaced my Eleganza with a v nice 100HP. Very pleased with the upgraded performance.
One question. The spare wheel has a different shape in the 100 and it does not sit properly in the boot well. It is slightly proud and the boot floor therefore not level. Is this normal or has mine aquired a non standard spare wheel at some point?

Should sit level. It's either 135 or 145 wide, I forget now. Yours is what?

Don't have a 100hp but aren't they a space saver 125/70/15 ?


Has someone put a full size in there ?

100hp’s should have a space saver.

thats my next thing to do replace the crappy space saver for, the 100hp alloy,
hate the spacesavers....no thanks

I have had my 100hp for 18 months now and had similar issue, boot lining carpet was soft so would follow the contours.
I cut a piece of hardboard to fit the boot space then used carpet contact adhesive to glue it to the existing carpet...underneath so you cant see it.
Job done, solid boot floor and no saggy bits.
You could do the same with a full size alloy but you will need to do a little more construction and lose boot space as it will sit slightly higher.
