Panda Panda 100HP project (cooperman style!)

Introduction

Right thought I would start a thread as there are a few mods happening to my panda and wanted somewhere to have them all in one place! I have owned my 100HP since 2010 and love it! She gets serviced at fiat evry year and had belts and water pump replaced last year. I wanted to start modding her but not go OTT as been there and done it before! Hopefully you guys like it!
So this is what I have done:

Really happy with the way the car is coming on! The rear end is looking nice and fat, will be looking at getting a silver rear fog light bulb to balance up the lights and looking at spacers the same as Demi has to fill the arches a bit more. All 4 tyres will be getting replaced also for Toyo T1R's as got some cheap front tyres put at the mo and had enough of them!! Lesson learnt!
Looks good Barry ... Similar to the Pipercross one that I have. Don't think there's much you can do to stop any warm/hot air being sucked in.

Well new air filter in, had to order new filter cone as the other one was to big and a new 45' pipe, taken for a quick test drive and it sounds really nice!
Don't think my MPG will be happy (y)

The original cold air intake is still there in the front and in that location. Im sure you could make use of it somehow. Maybe just refit the pipe that went into the OE air box and point it at the cone.

Well the pandavan has it's service and MOT tomorrow at fiat!
Should be a interesting visit!

This is where you wished you'd bought one of those pen-size spycam things to stick under the bonnet and in the car..........

cooperman are your wheels 7.0" width? Looking at picking up some 15x7s myself later today, I have plenty of options RE: spacing, and I've seen loads of 7j wheels on rimstlye for the Panda, but nonetheless interested to know if you encountered any problems?

Still loving your car man, I was very close to selling my 100HP this week, but I'm going to stick out and chuck some more mods at it this year - the "to do" list is quite long to get it where I want it!

Hello mate thank you for your kind words, yeh the wheels are 7j wide with 10mm spacers had no issues with rubbing or anything so been wheel happy! I kept the original tyre size also which I think helped! (y)

Cool thanks matey - now I actually looked at the standard wheel they measured up wider than I thought, and have got some stretched rubber on the new wheels anyway, so I think I can afford to go pretty wide with the spacers :)

Thought I would give an update, the Pandavan is still going strong and has just had to deal with moving so it's been filled with boxes!
He now has a nice new garage to live in, may need to get the steering wheel retrimmed at some point as it is starting to go weird on one of the sides, think this is a common problem. (y)

Hi cooperman...am looking to do the £30 mod to my 100hp but the link as to how you did it doesn't work (page not found). Any chance you could post the link again or tell me how to access it? I'm aware it's not that hard to do but tube dimensions/measurements would useful for when ordering parts. Or if anybody else could help? Thanks in advance..

But Barry there is only one of yours.....
And for once it wasnt "the most" of all the Pandas.

That "highly" moded one, not my kind of thing but i liked the front grill!
Any other mods to note on it?
