mmc. The integra is spot on which is brilliant. I know what you mean though to an extent... see the 100hp handling observations thread... I must admit if it is possible in the future to fit a rear arb and revised rear springs it might be tempting.. but we'll see!

Believe me i've been there and got the t-shirt when it comes to modding. Its great fun but you never get teh money back of course.

Where would you stand if you had an accident...Presumably you have to inform the Insurance company of the mods?....

Then you have the warranty minefield....(n)

My insurance are fully aware of all my mods. Risking my warrenty is entirely my choice and im more than happy to pay for anything that may need to be replaced but has been invalidated by my mods

Can't say I've been beaten down back roads by many cyclists....Can't say I've been beaten down back roads by much at all....:slayer:

Apologies to the guy in the Passat Estate who almost went in the hedge trying to stay with me round that S bend last week....I never realised they understeered that much either! :p

You beat a very probably diesel family car round a corner???????????????? I can see why the thing is soo damn bouncy and intolerable all the time now...shame a guy in a 172 doesn't have to put with the same ride quality and could still decimate you down a back road

The 100hp was a car I wanted to love...I could afford it, it was my sort of car it was fast enough and it was a fiat and I wanted another one, it had the right sort of image, I.e. quick enough and a bit alternative and was meant to be a lot of fun but....no, It got a class interior for what it is and is well made but the ride killed it dead, no damping or suspension travel leaves it pitching back and forth and slamming into bumps on anything other than good roads. Good roads are far too rare and i'm not driving THAT between them.

(It might be telling that I see more panda 4x4s round here than 100hps)

Edit: I will say thinking about this that this seems like a really negative post towards the 100hp...two things A this is in my opinion for my circumstances and B I really like the 100hp but was very annoyed when I realised it wouldn't work for me as an only car.

I would be embarrassed for the 172 driver if his £15,000 car couldn't beat my little 100hp....Why don't we throw in a Cooper S and a Civic Type R while we're at it....

My point was, many people in bigger cars (like the Passat) underestimate it and think they can drive up your rear end like an idiot.

You seem very angry about it....Maybe you should get a fun car to drive

Hmmm could it be your driving?....There are a fair few of us on here who seem to be able to handle it....And before you say it, I drive back roads, B roads, A roads, MWay, 5 days a week, 40+ miles a day and I haven't really had cause to moan once....
