Hi all, Two interesting Questions you to answer how offend would a clutch fail on a Fiat Panda 1.2 d/e model as it has hydrolic fluid instead of a cable? And is there a brake pad warning light on the dashboard as there is a sensor cable attached to the brake pads?

Clutch can fails in many ways

Pedal goes stiff
Pedal stays down
Padal snapped
Clutch does not disengage
Clutch slips
Release bearing goes noisy
Slave squeeking

If you don't rest your foot on the pedal
Don't slip the clutch too.much
And mainly do gentle take off's
The original AP clutch should do 150K

There's no pad wear indicator on the three pandas I have owned

There's no pad wear wiring on my 2010 1.2 Dynamic Eco either.

If there are wires coming from the pads, but nothing to connect them to, it's possible someone may have fitted pads intended for the 500 in the past. There's no problem doing this (the pads are otherwise the same), but obviously you won't get a warning on the dashboard.

TBH this type of pad wear warning system isn't reliable (it's usually a pad without the wire that wears down fastest!), so I wouldn't stress over it.
