Recently purchased a red 1993 Panda Fizz 1.0 Fire engine(posted on Forum classifieds). 1 Lady owner, 32000 miles, garaged with no rust problems, what a beauty
. This must be the start of my mid life crisis as a Panda was my first car back in my student days.:slayer:
The car has the twin coil distributor with no sign of Vaccum Adv/retard unit. Had a look in the supplement section of my Haynes manual. It talks about 15 degrees BTDC +or- 2 degrees with vaccum pipe connected and 2 degrees BTDC +or- 2 degrees dis-connected and plugged.
This is a bit of a head scratcher! Is the Adv/ret electronic on this model
? and are these stats still correct for setting up the timing.:bang:
Help please!
Phil
