Just went to get maple syrup as my daughter wants that on hers, its nearly £3 a bottle

i still have some of that from pancake day a few years ago. it was a good idea at the time, then i was reminded what it tastes like. golden syrup was another thing i tried that year, its also still in the cupboard never been touched since. golden syrup is not a good idea for a pancake topping

there was two different types, but no flavour just the real stuff.
Well they ate them anyway with lemon and sugar.

Just done some lathered in sugar, melted the fish slice handle resting it in the pan mind!

Making pancakes in my uni halls of residence last year was a right laugh. Haven't had the urge to make them today though... Gonna try and talk someone into making them for me.

The 4 boys have just eaten theirs with Jam, sugar and lemon juice. Kev and I will have ours later after dinner :yum:

mine will have to be done from scratch so its a big job for one person as i dont think anyone else will have them. i usually do have them on pancake day but I am feeling too lazy and still quite full from my tea

Im a fan of maple syrup on pancakes.....
Plus the comment on Golden Syrup is true...its frankly one of the best possible things on pancakes, that is assuming that you can get the spoon back out of the tin once you put it in!
