Painting the engine

Has anyone here painted the engine?

If so, any particular advice (other than do it carefully lol)?

you mean the cover ed? or the rocker cover of the engine? if you mean like mine in the oic I showed you then normal painting rules apply. just use a couple more coats primer + laquer to be safe.
if its the actual engine you will need special heat proof enamel.

nah i did mean the actual engine - your painted cover did look good though.

i was just wondering if anyone had done it and been happy with the result - as its not really something that is easily undone.

im gonna do it in the summer get the inlet manifold and the rocker down in the same as the car colors nice bit of purple with a hint of sparkle put through it bargain at 30 bucks id say getting the wheels powder coated at the same time from same place
