Lol, I'm sure it'll be ok raining. I've got the grilles out already, still in two minds what to do with the chrome grille surround though. Leave it off, paint it black? Any suggestions very welcome.

Can you take the chrome off?
I would say if they come off, paint the whole lot white, failing that its going to be a pain to paint it without touching the chrome, and surely if they come off, they would go back on?

Think metallic is different from pearlescent but not really sure

CL Jazz Blue is ( or was ) described as "Lenticular" when I bought my car. When I bought my touch up stick, the garage got 487/A first, which was blatantly wrong, so 487/B is right!

The other two Lenticular paints are Masserati Blue and Maranello Red.

CJB was the only lenticularone available on the Active spec, which was cool as I think its the best colour!

Its a 1.4 tjet 150 dynamic on a '57 plate I have so I am more confused now lol
Could of been a one off unit that paint on that trim, i really don't know but at least I have the code and can check against that.

Yes mate, the chrome trim does come off and is now off. Gonna be a pain to clean mind, think I need a good pressure washer to get into the clip areas.

Sounds too much hassle for me, I must just make it plain black though, have you any pics of it once you took chrome of and is it easy enough to remove?

It's really easy to get them both off, just grab hold of the grille in the middle with both hands and pull like hell. Sounds brutal but it works.

That sounds fairly easy, might give it a wee try soon, i like the plain black but don't know what it'll look like without the chrome as i am guessing there as clip holes etc once its taken off, well looking at your pic with the chrome on the bonnet, i can see some form of clips on it.
Back to original post lol the colour of your bonnet says to me it does have sparkles through it which is maybe why you don't have the B in your colour code?

That I don't know myself about the letter B. I wouldn't leave the chrome off, maybe pair it black, but as you can see from the picture below, loads if clips. Going to buy the paint now. By the way, I've decided on silver now. Lol.

Yeah I've seen your chrome trim, I don't have that. I do now have the chrome handles though. £65 for a full set, the best bit is, they take literally 2 mins to swap each one. I'll put up a guide in the guide section later today.

Lol, what a shame. If you pay the postage you can have mine and yes they are blue. I'll even talk you through on how to change them. All you need is a T15x18mm driver and that's it.
