Pain in the ESP !!!!!!

my ESP is playing silly buggers on my 02 1.8 dynamic 3dr, driving along normally i take a L/H bend and my ESP kicks in even on sweeping bends but not all the time it's driving me nuts :bang: R/H bends are fine it does this at low ,medium and high speed has anyone had the same problem I have checked my wheel nuts tyre pressure and for wear and tear and all is how it should be thanks in advance

have you checked to see if you have a binding or siezed brake?

I presume all 4 tyres are identical ?

Perhaps a calibration error on the steering sensor (if ESP) :chin:

Yes BBS took all the wheels off and checked all the mechanical stuff starting to think its the sensor but I dont know where it is or how to test it

front 2 and rear 2 are the same argo all the same size 205/45/16 where is the sensor and can I test it as I'm a duffer as far as wiggly amps go

I'm just guessing really as I know the steering rack passes info about steering position back to the ESP control module so seems logical it needs to be centred properly.

Could still be a wheel sensor problem I guess due to the load on the bearing plus a bit of wear - but you'd expect that to be measurable :chin:
