Anyone else had this problem?
What I have found out so far is its apparently down to a batch of faulty Particulate Matter (soot) sensors fitted to Ducatos around 2020/2021
Brings on the engine management light
(I have got a new code reader - previous one showed P24AC)

I read on a MH forum about 2022 there being a spate of failures due to a dodgy batch of sensors. Get it replaced and problem goes. Then there was a huge backlog for the sensors, dont know if they are now available.
Seems like there was a service campaign

Service Campaign FIAT 6306
Replacement particulate matter sensor.

Thanks for the reply
Yes thats the link I found
Its still under Fiat warranty (new vans get 3 year warranty) so I want them to fix it before it fails the MOT on emissions light.
But Fiat Professional Dealer I bought it from didn't know about it
Which unfortunately means a lengthy trip and wait there for a full diagnosis and conflab with Fiat before they will order the sensor.
So I posted to see whether anyone else had the same problem in the hope of seeing how widespread it is, and how they got on with getting it fixed.

Well the dealer said she had no record of 6306 or any other Particulate Matter Sensor campaign
But said the Particulate Matter Sensor is a known issue, fitted another under warranty, and it seems fine now.

I also have a dpf problem I keep getting the engine warning light coming on, on my 2020 ducato motorhome. I've had the pressure sensor changed and the dpf cleaned. Hoping this will sort the problem as I have had the AA out three times now. First time Accelerator not working correctly and the 2nd and 3rd DPF problems. First AA chap did a forced regen but the second just cleared the fault but it returned before I got home.

Just wondering if it maybe the soot sensor

Nearly £6000 to get it sorted, just because of a faulty sensor that Fiat knew about because of a service campaign. Also so many needing replacing as its out of warranty by a few months it will hopefully be a good will gesture that repays the cost. If not may have to go down the legal route as it should last the life of the vehicle it's obviously not a service part if the engine has to come out to replace it.

Sorry to hear of your experience
We can't be talking about the same sensor
My faulty soot sensor was fitted to the exhaust pipe under the van..
Looks like a fairly easy half hour DIY job but took it in to be done because it was under warranty and I found the online price of a sensor to be £200 - I expect the Fiat part from the dealer would be more.

It was the same fault, but the sensor was not changed until the dpf was destroyed and they both needed replacing. The engine needed to be removed to change the DPF...
