Hi, I have a motorhome based on the 2011 Ducato 160 multijet.
Recently the engine warning light came on (and stayed on).
I checked the fault code with my scanner and it came up with P0235. I then cleared the code unintentionally. Since then I have driven the motor home on several reasonably short journeys expecting to see the warning light come on again at which point I will take it to a dealers to get it checked out.
My question is this :- If the fault still exists, should the warning light come on again? I'm not sure if I can feel any difference in the way the engine feels or the performance - and have put it down to paranoia if I do. Fuel economy is around 22.5 mpg which isn't much below what I'd expect for the sort of driving I've been doing.
Is the fault likely to have cleared itself or do I need to get the vehicle checked out?
