Hi all
I've have some problems with my 17 plate 1.4 Punto Easy
Thursday afternoon I was driving home along fast roads, hit traffic as I turned onto the town roads the engine started to get a little louder and throatier (sounding like burning rich) and got a engine warning light and error messages of "stop start unavailable, ESC unavailable, tyre pressure monitoring unavailable" etc.
After 2 minutes the car went into limp.
Turning off and on the car it cancelled the limp but kept the warning lights and messages.
Past experience on mates cars I took out the MAP sensor and cleaned it to keep me going till Friday and ordered a new on to pick up.
I drove to work perfectly fine Friday
On the way back Friday the same happened as Thursday at the same place hitting traffic. I picked up and fitted the new MAP sensor which didn't have an effect.
Borrowed a OBD from a mate Friday afternoon and it gave P0101 error.
Is this likely a simple replacement of a different sensor or have people had to do some more digging to find the problem?
Thanks All
