Can anyone look at the readings for my oxygen sensor please. And let me know if it looks normal.

It makes no sense for me.

Thanks.

I think we need a bit more info. For instance, is the engine fully warmed up? Are you just letting it idle or working the throttle?
Yes the images I sent earlier was me driving back and forth down the motorway. So this was from working the throttle.

Nothing meaningful in the data

It's just not sampling fast enough

In all likelihood it's flipping from 0.2 to 0.8 in a nice sign wave if you put an oscilloscope on it

So what do you mean sorry?

How can I do another test?

These engine flip from rich to lean roughly twice a second

An oscilloscope typical sample at around 1000 samples per second, so a nice rendering

Multiecuscan normally samples at 20-300 per minute
Less than 1 a second to 5 a second

MultiECUscanjusy does not sample quick enough to come to any conclusion

We can see it going from .2 to .8 but that's about it

No not at all, for a start I can't get up a hill in 2nd gear. It struggles so much, have to change down to 1st
The MPG has never been higher than 36 like I said these last 2 weeks.

Mmm

Don't normally look on this section of the forum just randomly opened the post about the O2 as I often confuses people because the actual and scanned data often don't match leading people down a blind rabbit hole

Switch the engine on and graph inlet pressure and temperature and leave it for about a minute

It should read roughly what Google says

For me

Should be a fairly straight line, small fluctuations are fine but no large spikes

Depending on the scale as you start the car and let it idle it will either drop from 1000 to 350 or 100 to 35

Ok. I will try this tomorrow and report back what I find.

If I do need new sensors, how many does my vehicle have, just the one or does it have 2?

Thanks.

We need all the history in one thread, possibly keep it all in this one so we can see what was changed for what reason, just joining this thread now is very confusing

The car had the cam belt change messed up by one garage then fixed by another,

As far as I can tell at this point the car may have been running correctly, now multi parts have changed, had this fault always been here, has the fault occurred after something was changed

HT lead plugs say

Are we sure it's still running on all 4 cylinder, these engines will start and run on 3 quite nicely

Rough idle is mention a few times, is that a regular shacking, revs going up and down or something else

Maybe a video might help, tried listening to the start up sound ones, nothing jumps out at me but there isn't much idle on them

Thermostat changed, does the car heat up correctly and maintain the half way mark now

I have had new HT leads and sparks plugs done about 2 weeks ago along with a new coil pack.

How would I know how many cylinders it's running on?

Rough idle is basically when the engine is started and just sitting stationary, I feel like vibrations coming from under the driver seat. Maybe exhaust issues?

Yes thermostat is making the air warm and stops at half way point

Just take them off one at a time, start the engine
Stop the engine, put it back on move to the next

The one that makes no difference is the one that's not contributing to the running

You can also hear at the exhaust a slight regular pop sound,

Great temps okay

I do sometimes get an exhaust pop sound when I do high revs at about 3000, and then change gear like 1st to 2nd,
