Here is a simple addition. do this in your head. no writing down. here we go
take 1000, now add 40
add another 1000,now add 30
add another 1000 then add 20
add another 1000, then add 10
scroll down






Be honest. how many of you got 5000 for the answer?
correct answer is 4100, check with calculator

I got 4100 but its a good trick , If you do the maths fast it will trick your mind in thinking its 5000. cleaver

I don't see how you can get anything else apart from 4100.

i got 5000, it is because the last sum is 4090 + 10 which when your doing it quick some people (like me) think is 4900 + 100 = 5000
