OT-PC help, internet browser, please help before...

.. i smash this b!00dy thing up!!!

If i go into say Google, and i search for anything, say potatoes, i will get all the relevant links as per normal, but if i click on them i end up going random places totally unrelated, so i search potatoes and i get screw fix direct or bt or basically anything other then what i want, and it makes no difference if i open the link in a new window or a new tab!!!

PResentation needs to be in Thursday and chasing up all those scribes on the pad, but its taking for ever as i might have to click the same link 10 times or more before it sends me the right way.

I guessed i had some add on that just wanted to join in with me but ran internet without addons and still the same!!!

have u tried a different search engine?

if u go to orange or such, they normally work off google aswell.

but just to list a few u could use:
yahoo
dogpile
orange
btonline

they might help. if that fails, then try some anti-virus software.

Also if you're using IE, maybe try another browser, Firefox or Opera are good.

using firefox is a good bet as suggested above.
you can also try clearing your temp internet files (in Tools - Internet Options).
Failing that. Do a full anti-virus and spyware check. If you don't have antispyware software yet, head over to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php and download that, its free.
