OT - More OT than on topic posts.

Right i posted a few tech questions and got a few replies, but not as many as i was hopping for from the wealth of 20v owners on here. However posting OT seems to get 10's of replys shunting down all on topic discussions to the next page. I think its about time there was a separate section in the forum. I have no issues with OT posts but they just make all the real tech issues that much harder to spot and get help with... the main reason for the forum.

And yes before someone says so this is obviously not on topic but related to the forum.

we should keep it how it currently looks with a link to the ot section at the top where search chat is then any stray ot threads could be moved to the ot section.

that way the main page stays as it is but can be cleaned up.

I think people on here know the answers?? to ON T qeustions,but for some reasons dont reply.

Its not just the OT threads burying them so people dont see them,maybe its they feel you should do a search? witch is what the search is there for,or that they already ansewrd that qestion last week



But if we all done that, then what would be the point of having the forum? wouldent it be a lot less busy than it is??? if this is the case just stick a big (SEARCH) at the top of the screen and be done with it?

Its the general chit-chat, banter and O/T posts that keep us coming back, I cant see the enjoyment in visiting this site just to answer other peoples questions!!
If I know the answer then I will respond but I am no mechanic so it would need to be something that either I have had a problem with or have read about in a previous post....thus it can be found within SEARCH.
Some times its just a case of not being able to understand the question from the off, no wot I mean?
With regards to your belt change post MM I think you got some very good advice from Paul and Ash as far as guides and the best tool to buy, You didnt get much info on the clutch but to be honest they really dont go wrong that often(been driving 13 years and never needed one myself) so most people on here really dont have a clue.
And yes you can fit the 20VT lump in a Bravo
