I've never been too keen on Mac either, but I think I could learn to love that one ;)

i don't see the point

£340 for something that's trying to be a pc but with limited cababilites > what useful thing does it do?. You can get a new pc with a monitor etc for £340 that does far more than that will.

I love the statement "Imagine… a desktop computer you can easily move from your study to the kitchen on a whim"

Fine so long as you don't want to use it, otherwise you have to take the keyborad, monitor, mouse and all the wires with it, plus the extension from your phone line.

May as well get a used laptop and setup wireless.

I must really be missing the point :/

Not as small as the Nano-itx ;)

Does look ultra stylish though...

And the Ipod thingy is quite well priced...

i had a sony mp3 player that was about the size of the ipod one, a little bigger, it took a sony memory stick, was quite good except it was a display model which i aquired and so would only play from the display 16mb memory stick. Very good if you listen to portable music.

I don't think it's trying to be a PC. I think it's trying to fill the gap between full on users of computers and the people who want a Multi Media system without all the hassle.

It comes with OSX 10.3 Panther, running a G4 processor and iLife software, a choice of 40GB or 80GB HD's and the choice of DVD-ROM/CDRW or DVD RW drive, plus you can specify up to 1GB of RAM and Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth, and all this for a paltry price, which is unfamiliar for Apple ;)

I'd have one in the living room or bedroom, but it's not designed to be a full system replacement.

Plus it looks feckin' cool ;)
