I guess you have to have been around inthe 70's to enjoy this car. Gawdy, yes, but I kinda like it in a flares, tanktop and sideburns kinda way ;)

'Scuse I, pardon I squire.

I was around in the seventies and I can say, quite categorically, that I, both then and now, would not be seen dead in that bloody monstrous heap of automotive ****e!!!

Seriously cool for the time warp.
You have to remember that this is a true 70's poor mans jag. I agree with roberto in the fact you gotta imagine yourself in flares n cheesecloth with affor srinking party seven in the bar!
Love it

I agree with Rob. If you look at it with 70's styling and what modifications that were available at the time then maybe it would be seen in a different light.
I'm not saying I'd buy it though, nor particularly like it but by slating it because it is not in todays styling is not really fair. I reckon if this was the 70's now with todays computer technology the majority would have a change of mind. Back then it would have been a cool car and it should be seen with that context in mind.

Cool?

So uncool it passes straight through uncool back into cool territory, but then goes so far the final verdict is put it out of its misery....scrap! A circus car for clowns.

I had flares.
I had cheesecloth shirts.
I had tie-dyed t-shirts.
I even had a pair of loon pants.
My mate had a Capri, which I coveted.

It did NOT have:
Mickey Mouse's coffin on the bonnet.
Tassles all around the interior.
A poncy mirrored bar area.
A pick-up back end.
Chrome side pipe exhausts.
Ridiculously flared rear arches.
A windscreen 'brow'.
A seriously out-of-place square front number plate.
Whatever the owner wishes to call those things under the headlights.
