Can someone suggest a good program to convert avi files to .mp4 or .mov files for my iPod? Quicktime wont do it and its driving me mad trying to crack another program for it!

QT wont do it because it aint got a avi decoder installed - try downloading the new version. Or download 3vix and that will give you access to avi files. Not sure on win tho

Well I found something to convert the files but I now cant find anything to join 2 parts of an .avi into one complete film, Grrr!
