couldn't recommend a better pair of stereo PC speakers for a penny under budget, delivered. Im not a fan of 5.1 on PCs unless over £150-£200 is spent, or if you gotta realy tasty Sound card or ideally, both.

To add, the bass they deliver, for there size is beyond superb. They were designed so to create the bass lines without the need for a woofer. I dunno how, but then im not a sound engineer.
Im not even good enough to be a sandwich engineer. I couldn't butter my own hand if i tried.

Good all round i got 7.1 logitechs and dont use most of the channels. So a decent 5.1 set would be best! Also is you have an older motherboard or soundcard an upgrade may be in order. I upgraded a friends with a cheap soundcard £10 and it made a HUGE difference. Although i myself would go for a new creative one, just post if you need more help etc.
