chaps, I cant find a clear answer to this, so just thought i would run it by you. I recently programmed a remote to my car (yay) and I was aware that pressing and holding the lock/unlock button opened/clsoed the windows. Now, this does work, but only if I keep the button held, is this correct? I thought that holding the button down for 2 or more seconds, inititiaed the operation and kept going if the button was released....no?

Never ever did that with mine, Although I did and I don't know how manage to undo windows and roof with only one press off the button!!

The reason why just pressing on the remote twice won't put all the windows up and down are obvious. It's to avoid doing it by mistake. But I guess having the key in the right place in the pocket and staying next to the car would do the inevitable. :p

I think I forgot a window down at least 5 nights already, and never has anything been stolen. It's always when I lock my car that for some reason I find my window is broken in pieces.. maybe to search for my favourite CD's. :p

keep a weak battery on the remote and that never happens. My remote battery is so low it will only unlock the car from 1 meter at most. Its been like that for 3 years now.
