HI ITS DANNY AGAIN YOU HAVE HELPED WITH MOST OF MY ICE SETUP AND IM JUST AFTER ONE LAST BIT. AT THE MO AS YOU KNOW IVE GOT 2 12INCH PIONEERS RUNNING OFF A 1200 WATT AMP, VIBE 360 WATT 6X9S, AND 13CM PIONEERS IN THE DASH, NOW IVE GOT ALL MY NEW STUFF THE COMPONENTS FOR THE DASH,SONY MID RANGERS FOR THE REAR STANDARD SPACE AND A 520 AMP TO RUN THE COMPONENTS AND THE 6X9S .

OBVIOUSLY I HAVE NOW GOT 2 AMPS. I HAVE AT THE MO 8 GAUGE POWER CABLE RUNNING THE AMP AND ITS FINE. IF I WAS TO RUN 1 4GAUGE CABLE TO A POWER DISTRIBUTION BLOCK THEN 2 4GAUGE TO THE AMPS OBVIOUSLY FUSED APPROPRIATLY THEN WOULD THAT WORK OR AM I LIVING IN DREAM LAND. CHEERS DANNY
 
Bin the 6x9's and turn caps lock off :)

4 guage and a distro block is the way to go. Remeber you still MUST HAVE a fuse in the engine bay near the battery. That fuse is to protect the wire and your car.

If your amps have fuses already then you don't need a fused distro block.

cheers tom do you know what size fuse im going to need for the one coming straight of the battery for the 4gauge il have a total of 1750watts but i thingk that is slightly overated. im glad i have your approval for the distro block once its all in im then gonna do my own install making it all lokk very very good.

Like I said, the fuse at the battery is purely to protect the car, not the amps. Add up the fuse ratings on the amps and then add a bit extra and find the nearest fuse.

Say your amps have 40A and 30A fuses respectively, thats 70A total so get a 100A fuse up front.
