Technical OMP roll cage Read if you have one...

Hi all.

Following my car being rolled over at the track we noticed that the front section of the cage has moved down

It wasn't a particularly big impact, so when the new front section goes in to the next car i'm going to be making the front a little stronger. Gussets and maybe an extra bar.

Wondering if anyone else has had any other experiences with this issue, and i think in the interest of safety people should know about this.

On a side note I already have a bar in the back section of the cage for the harnesses so that they are at the right angle for the comp seats.

Perhaps you ought to let the FIA know that they are wrong in approving the OMP AB/105P/214 6-point roll cage for rally events.
It used to be a rule that.... 'Any modification to the homologated or certificated safety cage is forbidden' -but this might have changed by now.
