Technical OMP gear stick fitting help

Well i did abit of grinding and this is what happened to my shaft, so i have no problems with you grinding it abit

You can just remove the whole plastic bit as its only for the 3rd cable for reverse inhibitor which Sei's don't have the inhibitor is built into the changer mechanism hence its pull up collar under the knob, its just a little plunger on box which on Sei's and 6 speed boxes has a little blanking cap.

Our modified quick shift system is like this plus we moved the pivot point on gearstick for the fore and aft cable so we get shorter shift without resorting to just shortening the stick. This also meant making up a new cable retaining section which is bolted to side of the gearchange box to raise the cable accordingly.

I chopped mine down too much to be able to do it, although i did think about it
