maybe a bit, but it's probably because we're the host nation. I think any host would put some pressure on.

sure did, which meant the rest of the team had to work even harder...which is when we got stripped of silver....

I been watching the women's weight lifting on BBC HD and other events. Children in china are pick at a early age and are trained to win gold, same as the old USSR used to be. The ameicans love a winner and are bred to be winners, so ameican athletes have this mentally to win and do better than other nations.
