Hi all, I've bought the tool to reset the oil change light on the 500 diesel having done the necessary oil and filter change; I am prepared to do the reset for any member with a Fiat or Alfa Romeo that is on the Laser 5060 list for service and/or oil change (DPF models). All I ask is that you make a donation to Scope, Oxfam, Red Cross or Salvation Army, or other genuine charity of your choice (not beer funds!). This really ought to be done only if you have done or intend to do the necessary service. I would imagine there is an algorithm which determines the interval based on mileage, type of use and number of regeneration cycles of the DPF, but I'm willing to be corrected on that. I live in Croydon.

I think you have to use fiat ecu multi scan to reset the indicator.
Looks like the laser tool will do resets but it is somewhat short on features compared with multiecuscan although probably easier to use if you simply want to reset the oil and service indicators.
