Technical Oil & Oil Filter Question

Hello,

I want to do an oil & oil filter change on my 2019 Fiat Tipo estate 1.6L Multijet diesel.

Watching this video tutorial:

can anyone confirm you really have to take off the wheel and panelling as shown in the video just to access the filter ?? Is there a way to access without this step? Seems absurd to access just the oil filter.

Also, how important is it to use the manual OEM oil "Selenia WR forward" instead of a different model compatible oil (0W-30 C2)? Big difference in cost and availability etc.

Yes, all panels from movies. I use, in my Fiat Bravo 1.6 mjet, Liqui Moly TopTec 4200 5W30. It have Fiat certifications and ACEEA C2. The wrench for remove oil cap filter is 32 milimeters.
