Are the oil cooler seals of the T-Jet engine available for purchase? As far as I know Fiat does not provide them separately and I afraid that no aftermarket products are also available.

If not I'm planning to buy an oil cooler, but which aftermarket brands are trustworthy?

I had to buy two oil cooler O rings ( round and square section) from the Fiat Dealer, two weeks later they arrived in a sealed Fiat logo bag for £37 marked PRC(peoples republic of china) so not impressed.
However it made me buy a Universal O ring making kit from a company called Loctite, sceptical at first but it has proved good, also I was able to buy extra lengths of the O and square section rubber in different dimensions.:)

So does Fiat sell the seals for the oil cooler? I had the impression that they didn't. And not only that, but that they didn't sell the oil cooler as a separate part, but only along with the oil filter housing which at the same time serves as the base were the cooler gets bolted on.

The thing is that the oil cooler has seals of a particular shape, not just classic O-rings.

I bought from the Fiat Dealer two O rings , one normal and the other Square section if looked end on, so not as complicated as your one admittedly. I bought the Loctite kit as outraged at their price for two chinese O rings.
The reason it paid for it's self very quickly was the oil leak into the coolant system meant that every coolant hose I disturbed
wouldn't refit as oil had swollen the rubber so impossible to refit and O rings came with the coolant hoses!!!
So I was able to make up new ones quite easily once I measured exactly, I was suspicious of the method but their special type of Loctite glue worked well.

Well, Loctite is a well know and reputable company, but checking the price of their O-ring kit, I think I will just ignore it.

Aftermarket oil coolers come to 1/3 or even down to 1/5 of its price and they have a readily available seal that fits the cooler.

The thing is which aftermarket brand is more reliable. For example, I have heard that Nissens starts to leak oil into the coolant fairly quickly, so it's probably of low quality.

It depends how many O rings you need , my kit was around £57 and I needed several O rings for the coolant hoses and if two from Fiat cost £37 then it made sense to buy the kit.
I had three from one company and then gave up as the the valve in the oil filter housing part of the unit kept leaking oil. and where it was at back of engine working on axle stands I was well pi**ed off!
