I have just bought my pals 92k Panda 1.1 eco active. It has a slight oil leak and his previous mechanic says its camshaft seal. Is this likely, and if it is,is it cheap and an easy fix?
Cracking little car... need to replace the rear shock firstly.

Hi

I got confused on the age of this panda
1992k reg

Or 2010 eco active covered over 90k miles..

Eitherway its a FIRE motor.. they are renowned for drooling

This covers the basics :

My cinquecento has taken many attempts and multiple brands of seal before I got it completely leak free.

They do like leaking ;)

It is worth checking the cam cover breather system is clear as this being blocked can facilitate leaks developing.

Thanks all for the replies! Looking around the engine and the video link, would seem the obvious seals to replace are the three in the video, so ordered these tonight along with a rear shock!
Thanks again!
