General oil change

reached under the car to change the oil and the 8mil alan key is too small while the 10 mil alan key is too big is this the right tool or should I be using something else.

Hi, from memory I think it's an 8mm allen head but its easily rounded out, I had to use pipe grips to remove mine the last time and buy a new one.

Been under today and yep 8mm and rounded out. Something else to replace.

A small set of Stillsons does the trick. More reliable than an 8mm Allan key!
